The San Diego, CA (mostly) instrumental progressive-rock act CHON are in the studio recording the follow-up to the band’s 2015 debut full-length release Grow, which saw the band break into the Billboard Top 200 Chart at #122. Recording is currently taking place at Palmquist Studios in Los Angeles, CA with the album being produced by Eric Palmquist who is known for his work with heavyweights such as Thrice, The Mars Volta, Mutemath, and Bad Suns.

“This new album is gonna be stupid AF,” comments guitarist Mario Camarena who adds, “it has better notes than last album, as well as better beats. We’d like to thank Vita CoCo for making it possible.”

Check out a teaser video below, just shot with the band at Palmquist Studios to get a glimpse of what’s to come.
