Rumors have been swirling around the internet as to who will replace Danny Worsnop as the frontman of Asking Alexandria. For quite some time many have speculated Denis Shaforostov (formerly Make Me Famous) would be the one to take the reigns – and it turns out they were right. Less than an hour ago Asking Alexandria revealed their very first single with Shaforostov as the lead vocalist. The new song is titled “I won’t Give In,” and it’s available to stream below.
Considering Shaforostov had some serious drama with his last band, which resulted in them being kicked off Sumerian back in 2012, it will be interesting to see how his relationship with the members of AA will turn out. Something must have happened in the last three years to make the label decide to continue their relationship with him.
The song is surprisingly good – and fans will likely be excited to hear some more music soon. There are no details for an new album as of yet, but that information will likely be released in the next few months.
